Software I use, gadgets I love, and other things I recommend.

I get asked a lot about the things I use to build software, stay productive, or buy to fool myself into thinking I’m being productive when I’m really just procrastinating. Here’s a list of all of my favorite stuff.

My Workstation

  • 16” MacBook Pro 2019

  • 27” Asus Eye Care Monitor

    It's a great screen for coding, but it's colors are not true. Gotta use the MBP for any real color work.

  • Apple Magic Keyboard

    I just love Apple Magic devices and I take the keyboard and trackpad with me everywhere the laptop goes.

Mobile

  • Huawei Nova 5T

    This is my 2nd entry into the Android market, after a long run with iPhones. I've got my sights set on a Pixel next.

  • iPad

    I think one day soon, programmers will be able to use an iPad and Magic Keyboard to accomplish their work.

    I'm pretty happy with Polypane, this has been a cool project to watch evolve and it's been really helpful building for multiple screen sizes.

  • Raycast

    Supercharged productivity. I can't say enough good things about Raycast, it's such a timer saver.
